Brazil is a delicious medium roast coffee from South America. Its flavor profile is nutty and sweet with mild body, low acidity, and a smooth finish that tastes mildly of cocoa. We feel this perfect after-dinner coffee goes perfectly with peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. In terms of brewing, the Brazil beans’ flavor comes out best when extracted with a Beehouse ceramic dripper. Roast : Medium Region : Mogiana Notes : Peanut, Milk Chocolate

At Café Kubal, we carry an Ethiopian organic and fair trade coffee, a delightful, light, yet complex coffee. Full of floral and apple like notes that leads to a mild citrus finish. If you want to pair a baked good with our Ethiopian, we suggest our homemade apple cinnamon muffins that would really resonate with the fruitiness of the coffee.  For manual brewing, we recommend a Chemex to get the most out of Ethiopia. Cafe Kubal Espresso comes from Brazil beans as well, but is aged longer for a different brewing result. We let the freshly roasted Brazil de-gas for a few days before we use it at the espresso bar for a better extracting result. A small but important difference! Kubal Dark is our signature dark roast Sumatra blends with Papua New Guinea. Often, Sumatra beans are harvested only once, yielding uneven batches of ripe and green cherries, but the farmers we purchase from handpick their beans at three different times to ensure that only properly ripened cherries are selected. Similar to a French roast and offering a pungent, spicy finish, our Kubal Dark has hints of black pepper and finishes with a smoky after taste. It is a medium body with low acidity. Hints of molasses can be detected as well, making it pair especially well with a sweet treat like our white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies or our famously addictive monkey bread. This Indonesian coffee is cultivated and harvested between the rugged mountains of Papua New Guinea in the Wahgi Valley. It is wet-processed like some of the coffee grown in Central America, which contributes to Papua New Guinea’s bright and fragrant taste. At Cafe Kubal, we roast every batch of Papua New Guinea coffee to produce a smooth-tasting and well-balanced cup. The fragrance is especially vibrant, at light-medium roast where the spice can be identified. As it cools, the fruitiness of the coffee emerges. With its unique aroma, Papua New Guinea brews well as a bright and refreshing cup of iced coffee. Roast : Medium Region : Wahgi Valley Notes : Dark Chocolate, Black Pepper
